China, Luxembourg celebrate 40 years of diplomatic ties
On November 16th Chinese, Luxembourg leaders, President Hu Jintao and Grand Duke Henri, exchanged congratulatory messages to mark the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries (please click here for more information).
Also, on November 26th, a reception was held in Beijing to celebrate this event. Chen Changzhi, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), Song Tao Vice Ministrer of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Prince Guillaume and his wife Princess Stéphanie of Luxembourg, together with Luxembourg’s Minister of the Economy and Foreign Trade Etienne Schneider took part in this event (for more information please refer to this link ).
