‘Sharing your joy with the people’ - Concert at the Embassy residence
Together with the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing (UIBE), the Embassy hosted a concert by Beijing University professor and soprano Luo Yanjie together with the Secretary General of the Center for International Business Ethics of UIBE, Prof. Stephan Rothlin. The duo performed a number of classical pieces for piano and soprano under the theme of ‘Sharing your joy with the people’, a famous saying of Chinese philosopher Mencius. Diplomats, friends of the Embassy and UIBE as well as artists from Nanpi district in Hebei joined in this benefit for a primary school of Nanpi District.
