Work with the Bencham in Beijing - Assistant General Manager position open for applications

Purpose of the position:

Represent BenCham, support the General Manager, drive and lead new sales activities, expand business network, bringing new Sponsors & Partners

 

Key responsibilities:

  1. Support the General Manager on strategy development, and creating action plans;
  2. Develop and implement product strategy on positioning, market penetration and pricing;
  3. Responsible for developing & introducing new BenCham services/products;
  4. Implementation of the sales and marketing plans to meet or exceed sales planning, market penetration and product profitability;
  5. Responsible for maintaining strong relationship with existing sponsors and acquiring new sponsors/partners;
  6. Develop, communicate and drive other functional team to implement the strategic plans.

 

Relationships:

Internal-All functions locally. External – members, partners and sponsors.

 

Measures of Performance:

  1. Sales revenue of BenCham services/products;
  2. New members, sponsors & Partners;
  3. Meet the budget.

 

Background and Skill:

  1. Bachelor degree or above in business, marketing or related field;
  2. A minimum of 5 years of progressive working experience, with solid sales track record;
  3. Excellent interpersonal skills;
  4. Strong analytical and presentation skills;
  5. Leadership skills and strategic thinking;
  6. Fluent spoken & written both in English and Chinese. It will be considered as a big plus when candidates are also fluent in any of the following languages, Dutch and/or French.

  4. Strategic thinking and hands-on.

Note:

To work in China requires having a working permit and visa. BenCham will provide all the necessary information and documentation that we need to provide however You are fully responsible to arrange a valid visa, this includes all costs involved for necessary visa category changes. Various external factors change the type of visa required and the documentation/procedures that need to be taken in order to obtain the visa. BenCham can only provide you advice but can by no means guarantee a valid visa. If a valid work permit and visa will not be issues by the Chinese authorities, the position at employment agreement at BenCham will need to be discontinued.
