Luxembourg celebrates its National Day at the Ambassador’s Residence in Beijing
Despite heavy rain many guests made their way to the Ambassador’s Residence in Beijing on June 23, 2011. H.E. Ambassador Carlo Krieger welcomed members of the local Luxembourg community, representatives of Chinese authorities, foreign diplomats and friends of the Embassy to celebrate the National Day of the Grand Duchy with Luxembourgish food and wine. Mr. Li Ruiyu, Director General of the Department of European Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was the guest of honor. The Embassy team expresses its gratitude for all those who have tried to attend the reception but faced numerous difficulties of transportation because of the thunderstorm which flooded parts of Beijing.
