Cooperation with the Zhang Zhidong Museum of Industrialisation in Wuhan
On March 7 Mr. Michel Polfer, the director of the Luxembourg National Museum of History and Arts signed a Memorandum of Understanding with representatives of the Zhang Zhidong Museum of Industrialisation in Wuhan. Luxembourg’s national museum intends to lend a number of collections pertaining to the life and work of Eugene Ruppert, the Luxembourgish chief engineer of the first modern Chinese steel plant in Wuhan, the Hanyang Iron and Steel company.
