Minister Bausch visits Beijing and Zhengzhou
Luxembourg's Minister for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, also responsible for Transport, Francois Bausch, effectuated an official visit to China this week. Monday in Beijing, he had a meeting with vice minister Xia Xinghua of CAAC. On Tuesday, the minister continued his visit in China to Zhengzhou, accompanied by a large delegation of people from the ministries of sustainable development and infrastructure, of foreign and European affairs and of the Economy, together with delegates from the Embassy in Beijing and the Consulate in Shanghai, the Luxembourg civil aviation authority, and several representatives from Cargolux. In Zhengzhou the minister met with Xie Fuzhan, governor of Henan Province. In the presence of the minister and the governor, the Chinese investment group Henan Civil Aviation Development and Investment Company (HNCA) signed an agreement on the purchase of the 35 percent stake in Cargolux from the Luxembourg government.
